LAST EDITED ON Dec-05-04 AT 05:47PM (MST)[p]I just returned from a combo hunt we booked on an Indian Reservation in Saskatchewan near North Battleford. We didn't see very many deer at all, but I was fortunate to take this guy. I don't have many pic's, waiting for them from another digital camera. Weather didn't cooperate with us at all - much too warm and no snow.

Anyhow, he has 7" and 6 3/4" bases and 26" Beams. He also has a 2" drop tine on the left beam. He isn't real wide, but he is the heaviest and most massive buck I have ever killed. He was following a doe out of the brush at about 165 yards from my stand. It was neat watching him come out of the brush rocking his head back and forth so he could get through the thick brush. The scales at camp went to 300 lbs and he went past it when we hung him field dressed. The neck on this brute was flat huge.

Thanks for letting me share....

hey Tex,

I hunted the res (north Battlefords) the week before, got back last monday...who did you hunt with..? had about the same results myself, I passed on a 170 whitetail after missing a 190 muley at 40 yards, killed a buck that pushed 350lbs, the day after I shot my buck a guy from Florida shot the 30" plus buck I was after....

Funny part was the bucks I saw were'nt ruttng hard at all I hunted from the 20th to the 25th...

it appears they've discounted the hunts to $2,500...

Lien2,

NO WAY would I go hunt with them again. Between myself and others on the board who have hunted with them, we could tell you lots of horror stories. Worst outfitted hunt I have ever been on bar none. I was the only person to get anything the week I went (1 for 5)

His mainbeams were 26 5/8" which really helped him score along with his mass measurements. I thought he was about a 160 - 165 Muley when I walked up to him gross (not much symmetry), but he grossed at 181.

He has 52" in Beams measurements, 41" in mass measurements, 25" in G2's, 18" in G4's, 24" spread, and you are in the 160 range before the Browtines and G3's. We scored him 4 times (3 different people) - the first was 182, and then the other two were in the 183 and change range, and my scoring was done doing everything tight and I got 180 7/8 (181) which is what I am using.

Best muley I have gotten - I know they had bigger there, but we were flat not seeing the deer.

Wow! That buck has the thickest neck I have ever seen on a rutting buck. Good looking deer!!
