LAST EDITED ON Dec-15-04 AT 01:25PM (MST)[p]A couple of Sitka Blacktails that my cousin collected up in Alaska. I think he is allowed 5 of them per year, or something like that. Please forgive the tongue action.

Thanks for posting the picture. Sitka's are fun to chase and are a good looking animal with the double throat patch..... Allen Taylor......

Didn't ya know? All Alaskans take pics of animals with their tongues hanging out!!! LOL

Here's the smallest buck my kid got this year. He shot 3 bucks and could have easily got 4, but missed or didn't shoot at a couple. I don't think there are too many areas where you can take 5 deer. 4 is pretty typical in Southeast. In the good old days we could take 6!!!

This should make everyone feel good. We had to wipe the milk off his lips. LOL!!!

Afognak and Strawberry Island use to be something like 5 or 6 Deer a season, don't know about it now though.

Cool picture muskeg! The milk was good to clean up, but you forgot a little blood in the snow. j/k You have to watch out for some of the sensitive types around here.

I don't suppose you trap. I'm looking for a good deal on a green wolverine hide for taxidermy.

Nice tounges and nice deer. I have never hunted those type but they look like they would be fun.

BA - I've never seen a wolverine in my 30 years in Alaska. I know of a couple of guys who have seen them. They are more common further north and further inland.

One more pic - just cuz it's a cool one - the kid's first buck ever that he got in October.
