Where to put in for

Just need a little help deciding from those in the know. I've narrowed my choices to 4 areas. In Wyoming I'm considering above Cokeville on the Salt River. Then again, I'm seeing some huge bucks towards Evanston so I'm not sure which way to go. To make it worse, I've also thought about putting in for Idaho around either the Diamond Creek/Soda area or for the late hunt around Sublette. Can anyone rule any of these hunts out or reccomend one or the other ? The Boss isn't going to let me put in for both states plus hunt the Muzz elk and deer in Utah so I need to be as smart as possible. I plan on hunting public land in either state so what should my first choice be ?

Sublette was hammered to death this past year-general hunt.

Evanston area is all private if you want something bigger than a two point. The hunter managment areas are mini Utah hunts. Good bucks on Private.

Diamond Creek/Soda area may be making a comeback in the next few years, depends on the winters. It's really sucked the last few years.

So out of your pics I'd say go with G, even though it's not doing too hot either it's the best of the bunch.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-23-04 AT 09:43PM (MST)[p]Personnally, I'd look at 128 Late in Wy for the late hunt (odds suck at 30:1), and back it up with second choice region E. Those same big bucks are there, just up on the Forest instead of down on BLM. Also, to put in for Idaho you have to buy the license for $125. Then you either waste it, or buy a general tag.
