Trying out the new camera..

I finally broke down and bought the new Panasonic FZ20. I'm pretty happy with it especially the zoom. This was the first day out in the hills trying to get some decent pictures but the weather wasn't cooperating by being overcast. I think that is why some of the photos came out dark. I'm still learning and as you can tell I'm no MTmiller or DK yet.

This was the first decent buck I got a chance at. This pic was taken at 200 yards or so.

I put the timer on 2 seconds and was lucky enough to get this cool pic.

I was trying to get close to a decent buck when this little guy busted me at 50 yards.

I hope you enjoy.

Awesome photos man! There is noting wrong with these pics. Don't give up on the darker ones, you can lighten them up easy enough! Check this one out, hope you don't mind. Thanks for sharing, now lets see some more!

Pictures look great man, thanks for posting them. Sure helps with the mid-winter blues while I'm stuck at work. I really like the photo of the doe jumping the fence.
Thanks again for posting-

Try either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I use a few different ones. They all have good features for fixing up pics.

Your FZ20 should have come with a CD containing several applications from ArcSoft. The one for editing/organizing, called PhotoBase, will do the trick.

Sureshot - It did come with a CD that would edit my pictures. I haven't got around to downloading it yet. I'll do it this weekend and see what I can mess up.

Thanks for the kudo's guys.

Later,
IB
