"On December 29, 2004, Reggie Bell plead guilty to illegal killing, possession and unlawful transport of game. Bell was initially fined $1,500.00 plus court costs (instead will serve 323 hours of community service), voluntarily agreed to forfeit the 7 MM Savage rifle the buck was killed with and assessed a civil damage of $250.00 for the civil loss of the deer to the state."
$1750.00.....thats chump change for a buck like that. Of course, he didn't get to keep it. I think the penalty for poaching a buck of that caliber should be like $1000 for every B&C point over 180....gross.

323 hours of CS is alot worse than 1500 bucks. thats 8 40 hour weeks. i'd much rather see that that a large fine. i think they'll remember it better.

That is a shame. But yeah, her right arm looks kind of weird.

Another thing. The way her arms are bent back it looks like she is holding it close to her body, not far outreached arms as we see in hunting photos. If she is holding it close then the skull cap is about half of her waist size. In this case, it would be nice if this was a fabricated story. Shame to loose a buck like that.

I agree, it is the same buck, but is seems kind of obvious that some editing has been done to the rack. If you get both pictures fairly close to one another you can see the differences. Like on the left side, there seems to be another point added off of the main beam and both sides appear to be extended in width and mass. Definately a slap on the wrist for poaching though!!

Look over that picture very carefully Fully a photoshop Job big time sorry guy but her hands are disportionate to her body. Look at her shoulders man she has to have the largest forearms in the world Upper arms comapared to forearms. Guy this thing is so doctored it is a joke.

Fines like that are one of the reason folks do this.
Heck, you can hunt any western state illegal and if you get caught ever year pay less than what the tag will cost. Go figure.
In 15+ years of hunting western states I have been checked one time. That is it.
They are just asking for problems,
