Check out this buck, my buddy and I spotted him while scouting for antelope this past season, I sure would like to see him again!

Not a bad buck at all I would guess in the 180's not very wide around 28 wide he may hit 190 never know until he is on the ground. Great Pics Keep em Comin

Yes, 175 is pretty accurate. Pretty buck. Thanks for posting pics.

Yeah the pics of this buck don't do him justice to how big he really was, not very wide, we figured between 26-28 inches, but he has good mass, and his main beams are very impressive, we figured again about 25-27 inches. Overall we rough scored him at between 190 and 195 gross, we saw a lot of good bucks in Nevada this year, I hope next year will be as good. Good luck in the draws this year to all of you.

well because he has velvet his H1's would score a bit better.. I would say 170-180.. nice buck, great pics

What he would score if I saw him during the season is a 150 grain 30-06 bullet into him!!!!!!!!!

I am not a great judge by any means but I would say that this buck would go about 185. He is a little weak on the back and only has one eyeguard which would deduct from his net a little. I would still shot him real quick dont get me wrong. Great pics thanks for sharing.

Hear you go, I shot this buck during Nevada archery season last August. Looks close to the one you saw yours is just missing one eye guard. He scores 160.
Lots of nice bucks in Nevada.

I would say 24" mains, 15" G2's, 11" G3&G4, 19" mass, one 2" G1, 22" inside spread and about 8" of extras and my math puts him 184 gross typ., nets 174 typ. or there about. non-typ 190ish :)

Did you know that you were being stalked in this picture by some Himmilayan spitting donkeys?

Hey Bowguy,
Do you hunt with llamas often? I own a pair and they work out awesome. Cheap to maintain and they will pack anything. Blood doesn't bother them a bit. I have only had them for one season and I am looking forward to next.

first time, they were my buddies. These llamas were not up to snuff. They gave out on the way out. I was carrying 25 pounds more than the darn llamas.
I can see they would be an asset if properly trained and conditioned. The pack out would have been golden if the llamas would have just took their 30 pounds and walked down the hill.
Would I own llamas? no. Would I try them again? yes. Just make sure you get them out in the woods for training.
Good Luck,
Bowguy

My llamas will pack 80 lbs without a problem. We took them in on one trip that was climbing up hill for three hours straight with 80+ lbs and they never quit. I have llamas from pack stock though, that makes quite a bit of difference. The great thing about them is you don't have to pack in feed or much water for them. You can't expect them to be pasture ornaments for 11 months out of the year and be great athletes for a two week vacation though. I try to hike with them as much as possible. later,
Shane
