This Monster Muley that was taken by 13 yr old, Max Michelle, this past fall with his crossbow. The buck officially grosses 207 3/8 and nets 204 0/8. The G2's are only 13 3/8. They have about 5 or 6 years of sheds off this buck and last year he had G2's around 18". They figure the buck was around 10 years old. He is 33 3/8" wide and his mass measurments range between 5-6 inches. This is Max's 3rd big buck in 3 years. This typical ranks #2 in the BC Record Book just missing #1 by 7/8 of an inch. Congrats Big Time Max!!!!!! :)

BC you never let me down!
That kids got into some great hunting already and still has about 20 years left! (I say only 20 year because college and having a family seem to take some of the time away!)

It's amazing that every year British Columbia can produce a few bucks of this calibre. As residents we're aloud 3 mule dear each. Two in one region and one in the other. You would think that we would be running low by now but every year is getting better and better. Myself and a few freinds hold a big buck contest and we all bring in deer within the 150-160 class range. It would sure be nice though if the biologists could delegate a small piece of a couple regions to limited entry buck hunting so people in B.C. could keep putting pictures like that big bugger on this website.

I was just curious how this deer misses the #1 spot in in B&C books by 7/8, when the #1 typical scores 226

Fantastic Buck for sure. Only question I have is this, is that the hunter because looks to be a young gal and not a boy??
Whatever the gender, still a great Buck and I'm referring to the Buck not the person as far as gender.

Now I'm REALLY upset!
My childhood was NEVER that good!

Congrats to the hunter.

Tuffer,
Believe it or not, there are more than just a few Hawgs like this one taken every year in BC. We are known for trash factor bucks, so that is what makes this buck very special. :) If all you are taking is 150-160 class bucks in your big buck contest, I'd suggest that if you want bigger, you start passin' on bucks of that caliber. BC is where it's at to kill true Monsters. I've got a hard drive of pics to prove it too. :)

Too bad it costs so dang much to hunt up there, I was just looking at a 3 day hunt for 6 grand. Holy cow! Not that it isn't worth it, but I sure don't have it burning a hole in my pocket.

Thats a cool buck! That kid has some serious work ahead of him to top that.

I'll be headin out next weekend to find out if any of these trash factor bucks dropped anything in the last week or two. Maybe if your around I'll see you kickin up the same good ol B.C. soil in the Mcleese Lake neck of the woods.(i.e.Tyee).

What a great buck and congratulations to Michelle. Thanks for the pics BCBOY and keep them coming as always.

if they remeasured it would either beat the currnet record or drop 15 inches. Score seems to change with different measurers

Thanks, BCBOY. Yep - there are some real studs taken every year in BC. Somehow I"m getting "calloused" to all those big guys, cause I doubt I'll ever get to hunt there. But keep sending the pics. They are really appreciated.

This lucky young lady doesn't even know what she has achieved with that hawg. That buck is nothing but a monster and she took it with a crossbow no less. I'm wondering what I've done wrong all these years, LOL...

Congrats to the Great Huntress!

Max is a young lad. He has been featured in Big Buck Magazine with his 2002 buck. He will be featured in Big Buck for both his 2003 buck and his 2004 buck. I know his dad. Let's just say Max's horseshoes are handed down from his oldman. :) This buck was harvested in an area that is not known for Big Bucks.

My apology to Max! Don't know how I screwed that up, but I still bow to his accomplishment. Wish I had taken half the buck that brute is...
