I'm not going to mention this expert's name because it's against the rule's. It clearly say's if you have a problem with someone handle it face to face. I've been thinking it over and decided I have a few thing's to say. I've spent nearly fourteen year's on the winter range of Wyoming and during that time I've seen it all. "So called" shed hunter's harassing deer using fourwheeler's, snowmachine's, car's,truck's and believe it or not even an airplane. I've filmed guy's using dog's to run deer and have seen people on foot running as fast as they can behind one antlered buck's. All of my film was sent to Wyoming Game & Fish headquarter's and that seemed to be a waste of time. Do I hunt shed's? You bet, but respect for the animal come's first. The expert stated I accuse everyone up there of poaching, with three to four buck's found poached every winter, everyone is suspect. That is why I "glare at people" as I'm getting plate number's. As for the lack of deer the expert talk's about, the population has been decreasing for many year's. The main reason for that in my opinion is overhunting, with loss of vital winter range a close second. I've done more to benefit the mule deer of Wyoming than the expert will do in a life time. Truth is I have more respect for these animal's than I have for alot of people I've met. But it seem's that the power's that be in this state don't give a damn about the future of the mule deer, someone has to stand up for what's right and that someone is me "good old Jack Hone".
