This subject caused me to do some thinking last night. No, it is not opportunity, it is gambling. Now, I like gambling, hunting, and I like money for habitat, but Utah has got to be fair.

Last night the news ran a story about Texas Hold'em clubs are illegal and cause an image problem.

They went on to say Utah has a gambling rule, that if it includes all three elements, it is illegal gambling.

They are:
1) among people who have given or agreed to give something of value to participate (points and application fees).

2)Element of luck in the game (computer generated draw like video poker).

3)something of value received (a big game tag).

Therefore, along with island hunts, conventions, and the draw, I say let Harrahs open a casino in downtown Salt Lake.

Oh I definately will be bidding!!! I think it will be a great hunt. There are places to ride my 4-wheeler and I won't have to do as much walking. I am hoping to do a sheep/deer combo hunt.

It will sure be a lot better than shooting a 2-Point in Altamont!

I am considering asking Peay or Karl Malone if they are interested in guiding the hunt. I may even ask Doug Miller if he wants to help load it on the 4-Wheeler.

The only bobcat who can't wait for the bidding to begin!!!!
