his final score is 175. he had an outside spread of 29 7/8.hopefully this year i get another tag cause there is another muley that is huge. I've been trying for three years to get him and just gives me the slip. I know he is till alive because i saw him sunday along with about 45 does and 10 nice 4x4 plus about 500 head of elk.

It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

Nice buck. Congrats.
Where did you shoot him? (and I don't mean "right through the lungs):)

not yet I seen a few bucks with their horns

It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

Near the radio tower at zapata falls in unit 82. he was 65 yds from the road. He was not my first choice but it was the last day and i did not see the monster muley that morning and my dad was bitiching that i passed on all kinds of bucks (40 to be exact). So he will do till this hunting season

Nice buck man, he did a good job on it. I wouldn't be so exact on where you killed that bad boy....these guys are relentless. :)

Yeah I hear ya.....they should change the state sign from "Welcome to Colorful Colorado" to "We have tags, Hunt Here". Kill a few big bucks and everyone wants to hunt in your backyard....:)

awesome...can't tell from the angle, but did you get him done in the "semi-sneak"???

come on over there plenty for everyone

It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

everybody hunts the other side unit 80 & 81 because you can hunt in your car. on my side of the woods the roads are too rough for some people. also you need to know where to go. I could take you there and I will have you back by 7:00 a:m with a nice 4x4. But if you don't know where to go you will end up with a 26" and lower

It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

John Landen is also doing a mount for me of a muley I killed 4 years ago that one scores 192.I posted a picture of the horns on an earlier post but here is a picture of them here so you can see them
