I talked to a friend from Wenatchee the other day and he said that the big buck that is in the mid 30inch range everyone looks for every winter got shot this year. Does anyone else that knows what buck I am talking about or have you heard if the buck did get shot or is he still around. There were pictures of this buck posted last year on this site.

Haven't heard that he got shot, he might of died of old age though, that buck had been around quite a while.

I know a 36" was killed on Cooper Mountain or is it Copper Mountain by a rifle hunter. I don't know any details though.

if you are talking about the broadview buck im guessing he was a winter kill after he dropped his antlers last year, i think that he was limping towards the end of the winter and that was the end of him.
