Idaho moose, sheep, and goat results

Well the results are out and I wasted my controlled hunt chance on not getting drawn for moose instead of applying for elk or deer controlled hunts. The bonus points are starting to look better to me although I am not a fan of them in general.

My dad drew his moose tag. Should be a fun hunt. Unit 51, only has 2 tags. I hope I can find him a good one and convince him to shoot it with his bow.

I've hunted it a little. My dad just wanted somewhere close for him as he lives in Blackfoot. Have you hunted the area before?

I live in Arco which is in unit 50 and next to 51. Have hunted it fairly often. Do you guys plan on hunting early or late? I'm hoping to take my moose with my bow so I will chase elk at the same time. Will be alot of work to get one out fast in September.
