The dreaded $10 PIW. That much difference between my limit and available. It is the only thing I have on that card. Anyway, good luck to the rest of you.
 
I'm afraid to look! I think I'll live in ignorant bliss until the results are posted on the 17th. Best of luck to all!
 
O.K. I couldn't wait that long. I had the dreaded PIW charges also. Nothing like the kiss of death this early on a snowy morning in June. Good luck to all!
 
I put in for all 5 hunts that had the PIW chance too and I only have 4 charges on my card this morning for PIW, so they may not have charged the tags as of yet. I must have got something. Lets here from someone with an actual charge other than PIW.
 
I called my credit card co today, no charges. ( FYI: The PIW draw is done after the main draw and only for applicants unsuccessful in the main draw.)

I am wondering why I only have 4 PIW Charges and I put in for 5 PIW hunts, but no charge for a tag.....I wonder if they do the deer draw after all the other species and I will be crying tomorrow with another PIW hit for $10.00. Or, just thought of this, maybe the draws have nothing to do with the way they bill the credit cards....I bet that is what it is. I have renewed hope. I am always the optimist.....:)
 
If I was you I would be keeping my fingers crossed I drew a tag; can't figure why only four hits if applied for five;
Deer, Elk, Antelope, Desert, California or Goat ?

My cc has had no action, I'll keep checking.

That could be the case or, like you, I think it is more likely that they did all of the drawings like they said (PIW after main) and for some reason they have only charged the PIW charges, not the main charges. I would still think you have a tag.

For everybody's info: nobody in my circle has any charges, PIW or otherwise and we put in for a bunch of species, not just deer.
 
Chris, I put in for all PIW except the elk. I went antlerless for the meat with 3 points. So, I have a chance at that tag too. This is better than XMAS.......I love this time of year.
 
My Buddy keeps calling his credit card company asking for hits; it's a good thing they have alot of operators, otherwise he would have driven them nuts by now.

That archery cow tag is a fun hunt; not as easy as I first thought. You should get that one at least.

How many points do you guys have deer? I've got 4 so hopefully it's my year.

Don't forget you can draw the PIW and still get for the $10.

Chris, the antlerless elk hunt I put in for was with rifle. I have 0 deer points. Hunted the ruby's archery last year. Regarding your last comment. I read in the regs at lunch, I think, that the PIW $10 fee is absorbed in the tag fee, so I am not sure you are correct, but then again I could be wrong.
 
A cow hunt is still fun; no matter what the weapon.

You know you could be right about the PIW; I have had the PIW tag before. Maybe it jinxed me cos I haven't had a deer tag since. I got that tag before they reduced the fee to $10 and honestly don't remember what it cost. To be even more honest I didn't care !! I was so excited I had it.

The same goes for now, I would be happy to contribute the additional 10 to get to hunt any area.

Hoping to do the "Happy Dance" real soon.

TAG. Yes! I got hit the price of an antelope tag today. Guess they did not hit everything on one person at the same time. Still hope for those that have not seen anything or just $10. Rather see deer or sheep fees, but I'll take it and be very happy.
 
Deer Tag! Time to renew my commitment to the gym and get ready to backpack in.
 
NV30378, I'm not sure about the sequence for the actual charges. But I think it looks good for you to have a tag!

YYYAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!! There's a $1200. hit on the card . Either My Dad , Brother or myself drew a sheep tag . Can't wait !!!!!

It is a nice day today. I have a $30.00 and $120.00 hit on my card. So, that PIW I did not get hit for is the $30.00 deer tag and the $120.00 hit is for antlerless elk. I am stoked!
 
Havent got any hits I hope that is good news.... Really looking to hunt this year.

Ed, I had only 4 PIW charges yesterday and put in for 5 PIW hunts. Today I got a $30 charge which is a deer tag. This was the 5th PIW charge I did not get hit for yesterday. I got a regular tag not the PIW. I think?

I think your right. I re-read the the regs and believe that if you are not successful in the regular draw, then you go to the PIW draw and are charged $10 either way. It sounds like you did draw a deer tag in the regular draw. Way to go....

I got hit for all the PIW's I put in for.

I am in for Deer and Elk as a nonresident. No hits as of today. Can anyone tell me what a PIW is?
 
PIW stands for Partnership in Wildlife. I think it is for residents only. It cost you $10.00 and there are a limited number of tags. For example, there were 3 PIW/deer tags this draw not sure how many for sheep, antelope, elk, etc. You get to hunt any open zone any season you want. So, basically you can hunt the whole state during archery, Muzz and Rifle with the respected weapon of the season. The money they collect goes in a trust for wildlife projects. It is a slim chance to draw, but I don't mind giving $50 or $60 bucks additional for wildlife.....
 
I believe you are right that it is for residents only. Thanks for the explanation and good luck on the draw and hunts.
 
Now if you dont get any hits today does that mean no tags?
still no hits I hope tomorrow will be better.....
 
I have no charges and did check for the PIW draw on my application. I'm a non-res. Are any non-res seeing charges?

I'm a NV non-resident...credit card was hit for the PIW (deer) this am and nothing else. Bummer! The June drawings are tough on us!

I am a nonresident and got hit for the 10.00 deer PIW charge on tuesday. Nonresidents are only allowed to put in for deer under the PIW tags. As of last night I still haven't been hit with any tag charges but I hope it is not over yet. GOOD LUCK ALL!
 
Just called the Hunt Nevada (800) 576-1020 phone number and asked how many points I have. I did not like the answer, it was showing I had 1 more point for ELK, Deer, and Sheep. So I now know I did not draw any tags.

Just called the 800# also and asked if the credit cards are being hit for tages they sais the next couple of day we should start seeing hit if we havent yet. Still waiting and hopeing

I had twenty bucks hit yesterday morning. No doubt the two PIW drawings I put in for so no desert or California sheep tag. :-( Last night I had $90 show up which can only mean a couple of choices. Either My wife, my son and myself all drew deer tags (not likely) or one of us drew a deer tag and either my wife or I drew antelope. So somebody's going hunting. :)
 
I called the 800 number and it did no good as they will not update those preference point totals until the 17th when the drawing results go on the internet. Credit card hits are the only way to find out early.
 
Just noticed the pending charge for $480 on my card. A Rifle Deer tag in one of my five choices!? Wha Hoo!!!! My buddy and I are going to Nevada. I'm a Non-Res. We had 3 points.
 
Got a 30$ hit today looks like I will be deer hunting no Elk. But I will be hunting. Good luck to all
 
Thirty dollars this morning means I am deer hunting. Just don't know if I'm bowhunting or rifle hunting yet.
 
One of the few times I looked forward to seeing a charge on my C.C. NR-Deer tag and I had 5 bonus points. Now another week until I find out what season and unit? Can't wait!!!!!!! Good luck to the rest that are waiting.
 
$240 pop on the card. Either me or my hunting partner have a great deer tag. We used the same card but applied seperate. Come on results!!!
 
My birthday present comes 1 week early this year- looks my husband & I both drew antlered deer & cow elk tags. Whoo-hoo! I guess I'm in the market for another freezer by fall. Now the wait to see where we're going....... with all the rain we have been having, there should be some awesome racks this year. Good luck to all!!

Well, I checked every day and was getting very upset until today when I checked for the last time it was there. Man what a week it's been. I hope it is a muzz tag.
 
Well it's about time, only been 9 years since the last time drawn.
Got hit today I guess, haven't checked the card for a few days. Had $940.00 charged so that means all 4 of us drew Deer tags somewhere, would like to have seen another $1,200 but but that is OK we will take this no matter where. Now just the wait till this next Friday or maybe sooner.
The guys will be floating on cloud 9 when I call them.

Still waiting on our results. 033 was one of our choices, but the late hunt only. Got 6 points and hoping for a late hunt somewhere.

I get to hunt big whitetails every year in the midwest, so a good mulie tag is a bonus. But it's been way too long since I've been on a mulie hunt. With 6 NV points, 9 CO, 7 UT & 6 AZ it's only a matter of time, but the way states are crapping on people that have done their time, I begin to worry.

That should be a great hunt for you I am sure you are stoked.I have not found out if I drew Nevada deer as of yet. No kidding you drew that hunt with only 2 points wow that is amazing.
Will you be hunting New Mexico elk this year also?
 
CC got hit on the 9th for $60.00. Don't know if it is for my son and I on a deer hunt or an Antelope hunt for one of us. Hope they continue with more charges, like a $120 elk tag. If not, its been 10 years without. Kerry

oh my. Card got hit twice for $300 and $1200 today. does this mean I'm heading to NV for bull elk AND buck pronghorn????
 
300 for antelope showed up for me.....waiting for my elk....sheep....and deer to show up....anybody have any idea
the method that they charge the cards....are they in any order
for species or if your a resident or not?
 
I was planning to go to NM again, but now have 2 limited entry deer permits. As so I am selling all our NM landowner elk tags. 033 is the muzzle loader season, late hunt would be nice in NV,however I will be dead by the time I draw a late mule deer hunt in NV, or for that matter a quality elk tagin NV also.

Stil nothing but had a buddy with a $1200 hit so it will be elk goat or sheep for him, the suspense is killing him. LOL

As I have stated, I drew a deer tag and a rifle cow elk tag. My non-resident buddy drew an antelope tag and my coyote hunting buddy drew a deer tag.......This is his 3rd deer tag in a row.....Some folks have all the luck.....Looks like a good year for us....We still have Oregon and Ca draws.
 
I was hit for 30 & 120 last week. I can't wait it is either me or my wifes tags. Can't wait to see what the 120 tag is for.
 
My card was hit with a $1200 charge . One of three of us has a Sheep, Elk or Goat tag!!

I got a $240 hit on Friday. Must be either muzz, bow or rifle deer... Probably bow....

looks like a lot of non-resident tags are being drawn, I guess raising the non-resident tag percentage from %5 to %13.88 paid off for a few folks. Should have almost tripled the odds in some areas.
 
Yes, nearly tripled antelope, elk odds, nearly doubled rifle deer, as the guide draw is based on last year's quota and before the jump from 10 to 13.8%. 38% better odds on archery and muzzleloader deer and sheep.

Ron now that is pure luck if I do say so, gee, it was your wife that drew that Desert Sheep tag a couple of years ago down by Vegas. Oh well, wishing you or both of you the best on the Elk & Sheep tags.
Haven't found out yet where we drew Deer tags either, Friday seems like a far off time. LOL

I've been hit for $240. NR late archery 101-108 was my only choice. Hope it is not a cruel joke. Anybody ever hunted these units during this time? Dying to know what the action is like.
 
Those of us who applied online should be getting an email any day now with our results. Seems like the email usually comes out a couple days prior to the official results being released. I am checking my email now constantly......good luck!
 
Chris, the hunt code that you were successful for is listed all you have to do is look at your application and match it up.
