"Companies that support anti-hunting!!"

Just wondering if any of you out there know of any companies that support, as in give money to the anti-hunting front? I have heard that my favorite jean maker, Levis Strauss, supports an anti-hunting group. Haven't investigated it yet, but I am assuming here on the hunting front that what I hear about anti-hunting is true. For now I will stick to my Wranglers Rugged Wear until I can find out further deatails.

I would like to hear of other companies that do this so that I know who I am dealing with in the future. Do any of you out there know how to get ahold of the donation information of certain companies. We wouldn't want to crucify anyone without the proper knowledge. Maybe if we get enough people together we can send letters and/or e-mails to these incorrigable companies and let them know how displeased we are with there actions and that we will take action on our part to not use and to tell others not to use their products and/or services until they modidy their actions.

Lets hear it!! The companies you know, the companies you want to know about, and what to do about it.

Not sure about the anti-hunting companies, but the NRA compiles a big list of anti-gun companies. And yes, Levi Strauss is a big anti-gun company (what do you expect from someone from San Fran). For many of us, anti-gun = anti-hunting.

Ford Motor Company is donating 5 million to Earthwatch Institute to promote further research in the conservation of natural resources.
one might wonder what Ford did for your organizations?

I don't know about the Earthwatch Institute, but it isn't a bad thing to promote further research in the conservation of natural resources. After all, game animals are natural resources, and we all want to conserve them.

I do not believe Coors brewers contributes money to anti-hunting causes, or gun control groups. They sponsor the October shutzenfest in Golden, Colorado each year. This is one of the biggest single shot rifle contests held. I would like positive proof that Coors contributes to any of these organizations.

What part of the NRA website is the list of antis on? Also, I am now mad because I am an AOL user. Is there a pro hunting/pro gun internet service out there? Thanks.

Yes, there are some pro-gun internet service providers. In fact, I remember reading an add (I think it was in the American Rifleman mag), about a pro-gun ISP. Sorry, I don't remember the details. Cost sounded reasonable, plus they donate a certain percentage of their revenue to pro-gun groups (NRA, GOA, etc).

And you'll have the piece of mind knowing you aren't pumping your hard-earned money into an organization you don't agree with. Heck, they just turn around and take you money to fight against your beliefs. Go figure. I stay away from anti-gun companies. I just wish more people did the same. With 80 million + gun owners in the US, we could definitly change business practices by shopping smarter.

WEAR wranglers and drink coors light.I dont think coors supports anti-hunter groups, coors is a major sponsor of hundreds of rodeos' and bull ridings, most anti hunting groups are animal rights groups aswell, saying rodeos are mistreatment of animals,so why would the company promote events and then fund protests against the same events...??....HUNTFEVER

How can a burger company be anit-hunting? Sounds contradictory! Kill the cows but not the deer?

Coors is pro hunting, guns and rodeo! I'm sure most beer companies are! I mean...who else drinks it? Hunters, fishermen, NASCAR, WWF fans and sports lovers! Never seen a tree hugger drinking, just saving the earth to eat their mushrooms!

Great post!
