I am approaching my Birthday and my Son (Unofficial son but the same as if by Birth) Fly's a U-2 Spy Plane (Dragon Lady) and I have previously posted such Pictures. In his time off he goofs around with other aircraft's he is Licensed to fly. I would like to be in his Commuter T-34 (Which I have also posted pictures of). Rudely, thus far, the USAF denies my presence in the backseat of the T-34 (How Rude).

He understands my Need for Speed (Like my Hero; Elk) so he flew the Following two seat'er just to figure if it might be perfect for me as a Birthday Gift Flight.

Should I go or sit at Home is my question to you. Feddoc and Homer, stand up and simply argue NO !!! I am not qualified to be in the silly thing.

Here it is flown by another Gentleman:

After all, there are no Guns on the thing...Why then might I go :-(

Jagerdad (Folks, be @ my 6 and write NO, No, No)

Or should an Aero (Arrow) 300 strike your Bottom :-(

I Think you should go!

You may wanna take a Sick Sack or two with you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I flew the T34C during initial flight training. Easy airplane, decent aerobatics AND it has dual controls, which are essential for avoiding air sickness in rookies such as yourself.

Middle ear and proprioceptors....If either, and especially if both, don't have normal input, (and subsequent output to the brain) you're likely gonna get sick.

At least with dual controls you can, with the pilots ok, have some input into what the plane will do and you can then predict/control how your body reacts.

There are plenty of t34s flying. Take a ride.

As a side note, we used to train pilots from Kuwait to fly FA18s.

I was unlucky enough to be along on a formation flying training sylabus.

They shoulda hired people to fight their wars for them...they can't fly worth a darn.
But, they know how to throw a party. Myself and the crew were each offered a jeep for helping them through water survival.

?Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. "
