Did you read the part where he wanted to build a secret room with hooks on the wall. That SOB wanted a torture chamber for women and would become a serial killer if he is not a serial killer already.
What torks my jaw is he will get a life sentence and the tax payers will pay for his room and board until he dies of natural causes.

I remember those two serial killers in California, who tortured with weed eaters and all other stuff , one took a cyanide pill and did himself in and the other guy an Asian went to prison .

Towelie too soon to past judgement on the girl. She was flying back after attending her Grandmother's funeral. Her flight may have got in during very early morning hours due to her taking the "redeye" flight that is cheaper to fly.
The suspect advertised cheap overnight B&B rooms that was about 1/3 the cost of a motel. Being a college student, she may have been looking for the best prices to save money that was hard for her to come by. We do not know all the facts to judge her at this time.

Why would she need a motel? Why wouldn't she just take the Lyft to her own home?

I know you're probably not familiar with SLC but I would guess between the airport, the murderer's home and her home is less than 10 miles.

My mother use to tell me "nothing good happens at 3am".

They just fired a reporter for saying she was on a sugar daddy dating site. Lots of rumors about her using that site. Not a reason for a death sentence for her but might explain meeting a stranger at a park at 3am.
