OK I have a serious question for diesel pick up drivers not the big rigs. Why do you leave your trucks running all the time? I mean at gas stations, convince stores, out in front of peoples houses when you go inside for awhile. I even seen one 50 yards out in a grocery stores parking lot running nobody around. In the Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, it don't matter. Is their a mechanical reason? Is it better for the starter? saves gas? I get it if somebody is in them for the heater, or air conditioning, but most of the time nobody is around. Educate me why do you leave them running?
