I golf a lot and have often teased about getting hit or even hitting someone out in front holding me up......my heart sank reading this and my teasing about the possibilities just followed suit.

My heart goes out to that family for their immeasurable loss and especially for the father who made the tragic mistake ?

That is terrible my Bother in Law' Father was golfing and got hit right in the eye. Blinded him and ruined his career as he was a dentist and couldn't do his job after that.

Bad news that poor girl's family what they are going through. RIP

Give me a holler next time Slam, I'll let you play through...

I was golfing with a guy who almost hit me. I teed off and picked up my clubs and moved away from the tee box and ever so slightly down the fairway. I was only about 20 yards from him. He shanked it and the ball missed my head by about 2'. I was watching him the whole time and still didn't have time to react.

That's a sad situation for the family.

When I first heard it on the news I thought she got hit by a golf cart. Then when I was sitting down for the ten o'clock news I heard her dad hit her in the head with a ball. Wow that will be a tough one to live with !
