Sealing wooden fence posts

Pulled all the rotten fence posts around my place and just planted new ones, don't want to do that again for a long while.
Thinking about graphite and linseed oil to protect the posts from water rot but I'm damn sure open to suggestions if anybody has some experience with this.
This would be for above ground application.
 
Iv used Borate, you can mix it yourself and apply it with a weed sprayer.a 5 gallin bucket is about $100 on amazon.

feddoc, That looks like the stuff that the bottom 3' of my post are treated with but damn! $267 a gallon? think I better pass on that stuff.
Think I'm going to have a closer look at that Borate though.
