Criminal background checks work so good that they sold, AFTER PASSING THE BACKGROUND CHECKS, Devin Kelly 3 firearms when he had four violations that should have excluded him from purchasing firearms. In the following weeks after his murder spree the FBI had to do their best to track down over 4000 firearms which they had wrongfully cleared for purchase to people who were not supposed to pass a background check.

Yeah the gubmint is going to fix it all for you.

None of this is about saving anyone or making anyone safer. It is all about control. Make no mistake.

You folks who think this is ok or he is not stable or are in any way ok with the Government withholding someone's constitutional rights based on they were charged but vindicated or charged were dropped are a large part of why we will be sitting back wondering why we can no longer own firearms someday. And IMO are yourselves unstable.

The scary thing about "unstable" or any red flag term is I would almost guarantee every person on this planet has someone out there somewhere who would declare them to be unstable. We all have our fans and we ALL have our haters.

Be careful where you tread. As of today the City of San Franfeces says the NRA is a terrorist group which would include its members. They have already gone so far as to make an official declaration, and are looking at steps to blacklist anyone or any company from city work if they are affiliated with the NRA.

There was a contractor in utah county that i did some work with. He had a major accident that left him disabled. After a while he tried to end it with pills, didnt work. He now has no desire to die, wants to live, fish and hunt, but cant get his guns back without Dr.s and lawers and money. He is still disabled and lives on disability. How soon do you think he will be able to afford that fight. BTW he turned 40 last month.

As much as they sometimes suck.... technicalities are there for a reason and are usually laws or god given rights as much as the law allegedly broken.

I think if those government standoffs were so wrong on his part and righteous on the part of the government then they woulda made him leak. They didnt. There is precedence.....Waco, Ruby Ridge....etc. etc.

WTF are you trying to say in your first two paragraphs because it literally makes no sense at all.
 
The problem is that's only known in hindsight. I can show literally hundreds of videos that start out characteristically very much the same, and in seconds turned out to be very much a threat to many including death fathers, and husbands ect. He was playing a deadly game of cat and mouse and he should have used better judgement in doing so. He does for what? For nothing. Cooler heads should have prevailed but it's not limited to just one side. And legally, as it played out the law was not on his side.

First paragraph...Shotgunjim asked 1911 what he thought of people getting off on technicalities. I was simply saying that technicalities that get criminals off are usually law or constitutional right.

Second paragraph...if the standoff that the Bundy's had with the government was as simple as the Bundys were wrong and the Government was right the government would have pushed the issue and gone in heavy handed and more people would have died earlier in the standoff. The government has done so before.
