So, riddle me this Utards and others. Am I the only hunter that would rather shoot a big Arse typical 6 or 7 point then Spidey? I think (Personally) that it looks too much like a Red Stag cross. I like the crowned look of a stag but I want to be stag hunting.

Kudos to the guy that shoots it and I wouldn't pass it if I had a chance, I'm not trying to take that away by any means.... I'm not saying that. I just want to know personal preferences. No Jealousy, no money, not nothing, just looks!!

Give a Shout out if you would rather shoot spidey (Minus the Video sales rights and P&Y/BOON/crocket Crap). Just, if you had the option to put a Typical 380/390ish bull on your wall or "The Spider bull" Which would it be?

I've always had it in my mind that a big old 5x5 whale tailed bull would be awesome!Score not being as important as just being a mature, highly massed bull. But thats just me.

I would shoot eh new WR no question, it will make the hunter a few $$ that's for sure!!! But, I think a big basket racked 6x6 is the best looking antlered animal there is.....

Well, since I have a few of those big typical 6x6s already adorning my fireplace, including one whopper, I'd prefer this non-typical. That said, I'm pretty sure that I'll be shooting another big typical in September and not our friend Spidey. BUT, you never know.....

I would have to take spidey just for the fact you have a better chance at a typical bull nontyps. like that don't come along every year.

I generally go for the big typicals, but once a bull is obvously over 400, I'd take him no matter what.

definitely spidey, but I'm all about a beautiful typical both for elk and deer. I Just think spidey is too big to pass up. But if you stuck a 420 non-typical and 390 typical in front of me. The 390 is hitting the deck.Randy

The pictures of spidey and the camper trailer ruined all the nostalgia for me. If I saw a spider-like bull while hunting with a Clifford C. Clavin look-a-like in a very remote area then nothing could be better. I'd take anything huge, typical or non.

backinthegame, that's exactly what I'll be doing in one month...chasing all the Monroe bulls not named Spider anything.

I really do hope that most of the other hunters, though there are very few of them anyway, will be focused on that bull, or already done, and it should be an even less crowded hunt than it would normally be. Regardless of how it turns out, it's going to be one very fun elk hunt.

say spidey is world record non-typ now say hes with the new world record typical then you have a hard ? on your hands. If that were the case the typical would be my choice if hes only 390-400 typ spidey is going down.
