We caught these off the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They call these dolphin, mahi-mahi or dorado depending on where you are. I'm not a salt water fisherman but the family wanted me to go. I was a little sea sick most of the day.

Nice catch and pics...thanks for sharing. FYI next time you plan an ocean trip if you are bothered by the motion. Prior to your trip go to your doctor and get a prescription for motion sickness patches that you place one behind your ear. You can not get them over the counter. They are the best available product for motion/ sea sickness.

We actually had the prescription patches(Scopolamine). I think they helped but was still a little nauseated. My son and I were the ones sick and the daughter-in-law and grandson did fine. We were all using the patches.

I do like eating mahi mahi . I think they are some of the best table fish there are. We had 130 pounds of filets to put in the freezer when we got home.
