i had alot of fun doing this and started to wonder how much i could sell them for?

That is a great idea. That deadhead will look great all stained up. Can you explain how you attached the antler to the plaque and then how would you attach the antler to the wall. I have made many of my own european mount plaques but I like that idea and am just curious how someone else does it. Thanks for sharing and remember to post the pic of that deadhead all stained up! smitty

and you could probably sell them for a million...

there are 2 parts to the plaque because i like it to stick off of the wall at an angle and i just pre-drilled and used spacers to keep it staight and to make it sturdy

Those look great! I also use two plaques to do a european mount. I see you use a screw to mount the head to the plaque. I have a different suggestion for you. I use a toggle bolt or sheetrock anchor or whatever you wanna call it. Looks like this....

What ill do is drill a 1/2" hole in the thick spot on the skull and Ill pilot a hole in the back of the plaque and push the bolt through and add the toggle then insert inside the deer skull and start to tighten. The "wings" will spread (once inside of the deer) and when you tighten it keeps the skull solid to the plaque. It is just an idea for you to try. I'm sure a screw holds just fine but if your like me, I like to hear other ways of doing something! Thanks again for the idea,

I love the driveway that is a cool way to use those heads and sheds.
