Just wanted to post some of my favorites. (Beer can for size reference).

Far right in photo is first find, late spring 2008. Looked like brows of an elk antler on next ridge parallell to me about 100 yds away. About 100 yds from car!

Next from right is next year's left side, found late spring 2009. Had already found right side fresh brown, looked forever for match. I had lost a camera in the area the year before and found it feb 2009. Had sat down in that spot for a snack. Couple months later found this one exactly where i had been sitting- think i was there a few days early!

Second from left is huge brown i found points down in snow, feb 2009. Watched a guy drive right by it with his arm hanging out open window- about 5 ft away from it! He had parked and was sitting in idling truck for about 10 minutes. Cant imagine he was doin anything else but lookin for sheds in that spot.

Next is a buck that i saw on the hoof about 4 yrs later. He looked too young to be this deer in regression, i think he was offspring of this great buck. Had pics of him but lost that camera too. Ran into some deer while shed hunting a few weeks later, so i went the other way as not to disturb them ... was rewarded with this shed laying in creek bottom.

I used to have a lot more free time to shed hunt. A lot of this former BLM property is sold now with a ton of ugly signs reading "NO TRESSPASSING! YOU ARE ON CAMERA!" I flash a full moon at the cameras i see on fence line every now and then!

With new regs regarding shed hunting all i find is boot ttacks when i get out on May 1. Ahhh... the good old days were good to me! I am thankful for all the great stuff i found back then!
