CBE engage hybrid 5 pin

So I just bought a new cbe engage hybrid 5 pin sight and paired it with a mathews vertix. I have the instructions on how to sight it in but I'm having some difficulties. Or maybe I'm just overthinking this whole process. So I raised the housing up as far as I could to allow for plenty of downtravel and sighted all 5 pins in. This is where I'm getting lost. I know I need to sight in my 60 yrd pin at 60yrds and my 60yrd pin at 30yrds and make two marks on the white sight tape and match up the two using the red sight tool that is supplied with the sight. Now when I put the desired sight strip in place, will my pins not correspond to the sight tape? Just a little help would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. Move sight housing all the way up to maximize amount you can dial before getting fletching contact.
2. Sight in individual pins (20,30,40, etc)
3. Once you are sure your 30 yard pin is correctly sighted in, make a mark next to your dial indicator on the blank tape.
4. Using your **30 yard pin**, walk back and dial your sight until your 30 yard pin is hitting 60 yards dead center. This is moving the entire sight housing, not just the individual pin.
5. Make another mark next to the dial indicator on the blank tape.
6. Return the sight housing back to the zero stop position (so your 30 yard pin is truly 30 yards again)
7. Use the red sight tape and place the 30 mark on your top line and the bottom line will then tell you which sight tape is right for your particular set up.

Once you have the correct sight tape, the dial indicator should point to the "home position" of your slider pin - which would be 60 yards assuming you set up for 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60.

Hope this helps

Thanks wasp for the input, I really appreciate it. Ill work it on this weekend if weather allows me to do so. One more question to ask, so I moved entire sight to the lowest of the three positions available in order to raise the housing to the highest position for 20 yard pin. When I tried to sight in 20 yard pin using the elevation knob, it still doesn't top out to the highest position. Does that sound normal?
