if you want giant kings you probably should go to a river that is known for them and fish the run. Your other choice is off the coast, in which case you would likely catch kings, coho, and halibut, oh, and the best eating of the group, rock fish. But, kings are nomadic off the coast and can come and go, weather can influence how enjoyable it is as well. Do you know which you you want to do between the two?
I have set net fished near the Kenai and caught a 62 pound king that was on its way to that river. Amazing fish.
I have a friend that runs the boat for Dove Island by Sitka (Eric). It is a high end outfit, does stream fishing but i think specializes in off the coast.
Elfin Cove is an amazing little place that has some outfitters, also big water fishing. I have no experience with the outfitters, but Elfin is an enchanting place and worth seeing. Float plane in. Look it up.
