Sitka Gear Solids

Anyone use any of the Sitka Gear in the solids colors? I was looking at the timberline pant in the lead color - but wondered if it's too dark or how dark it is. Anyone?

Although I don't have any solid colored Sitka gear they would be nice for fishing, hiking, or scouting when you don't need camo. Most camo patterns tend to be on the dark side. I've always liked having a pretty good variety and selection of camo. I usually set out a bunch of camo in the area I'll be hunting and obviously choose the ones that blend in the best.

Just about every hunter I see tends to wear matching camo on top/bottom. I almost always wear a different color and pattern on my top than bottom to rid myself of the human profile. Another advantage for multiple patterns/colors is you can change them up during different times of year. You may want greenish tones in August but may switch to brownish in the same exact area in November...or have white available if it snows!
