What is everyones opinion on these packs. Im looking into getting one and just curious what peoples experience with them are. How do they handle weight and loads?

I picked one up last off-season and used it this past weekend for the first time. I was really impressed with it. It is very sturdy, easy to secure a heavy load and very comfortable.

Awesome pack I bought mine a few years back use it for day hunts 4 3 to 4 day hunts horn hunting very nice my only complaint is it has too many straps !! Another good one to check out is EXO

I've had one since they released them back in about 2014. I have the Icon Pro 5200. Hauled bone in deer twice in mine and it handles the wt well. Very secure with no shift or sagging. I train with it loaded to 65-70 lbs during the summer and it carries well. With any pack, fit and being properly set up is important.

Great Pack, I have the Ultra and Icon Pro and Icon Pro is a much better suspension. I dont think you can go wrong with the Icon Pro for the money.

I guess it depends on your use of the pack? The Icon Pro may be ok for day hunting but if you plan on hauling heavy/bulky loads you may want to take a look at Kifaru or Stone Glacier. Both of these packs are designed for 100+ lb loads.

The nice thing about Kifaru is once you have a frame you can order several bags. I have a bag for day hunting and another for hauling hefty-bulky loads. I almost exclusively use my larger bag except when scouting or hunting close to my truck. I can cinch the larger bag tight to the frame and am ready for a 100+ lb first load if I happen to harvest game. It is possible to customize Kifaru with different pouches, lids, and accessories. My bag has large exterior pouches for quick and easy access to spotting scope, tripod, raingear, etc.

Take a look at Kifaru and SG reviews. You likely won't find any complaints. If you are pinched for money you can likely find an almost new frame and bag on Rokslides classified adds, ebay, craiglsit, etc. for a fraction of the new price. If you do much hunting it is definitely worth the investment!

Love mine! It handles a heavy load with no problems. 4.5 miles 100+ LBS of Elk meat last weekend ?. The only thing that didn't hold up were my knees.
