For the past 3 years I have been wearing the Kuiu socks. My feet love them so much that I bought 10 pairs and I wear them every day.

Imo they are the most superior product compared to the second best product I've ever had in that category.

What I mean is that lots of packs are great: MR, Stone Glacier, Kuiu, ect. When it comes to socks there's nothing even remotely close to foot heaven than the Kuiu ones.

Does anyone who's had them know of any better ones? Any just as good that cost less?

I just ordered a pair. Hope they work as well for me as they do you. They are expensive but if they do what they claim with heel slippage I'll happily buy a couple more pair.

Thanks for the post.

They sure sound good! I've had great luck with Therlo and Smartwool for years. The Therlos come in different thickness and I like the extra padding they provide on the bottom of the feet. I may have to check out the others to see how they compare.

I bought two pairs of them several years ago they last about a season & 1/2 before there wore out . I bought Firstlite socks 2 years ago bought the Triad & the Mtn socks Now I can tell you in my opinion there is NOT a better sock combo on the market. I wear them all season Hot cold doesn't matter no blisters no sweat & still not a wear mark one on them !! The Mtn Athlete is a compression sock I was skeptical at 1st but after wearing them a few times my calves dont cramp up anymore . If you want an Awesome all season hiking hunting etc sock give Firstlite a chance you will not be sorry !!

I second the First Lite Socks, they have them on sale a few times during the year. Comfortable, don't sag, no blisters, and you can wear them for a few days straight. I've only been wearing them for two seasons now but just bought a third pair. Both hunts involved high movement in colorado so I can't say if they are good for a tree stand in Wisonsin.

I know this is an old thread, but the first lite and kuiu socks are fantastic, a cheaper option that I have really enjoyed are the Mountain Standard Merino blend socks. They are about 10$ cheaper and provide a lot of comfort.

I use darn tough and two or three thin liners, or smartwool and two or three liners. Both work well. I cant stand the feel of the supertight, hard to put on socks... but i guess that isnt too noticeable after you get them on?
Happy feet make for longer hunts so there s no price too high for good socks/boots combo! I ve had good luck and my feet aren't finicky so i feel blessed!
