My wife also drew a cow moose tag, although she had max points. A couple cow elk tags as well means we should be plenty busy with meat for the neighborhood.

Just received an email. Successful cow elk with 1 point.

I normally don't hunt cows but the whole family has been unsuccessful for bulls in 5 states with tons of points.
At least I'll get out in the forest in the fall.
