Figured I'd share this interesting Whitetail I harvested about 10 years ago on a relatives farm. Really not sure what happened to him but I'm guessing an injury while he was in velvet yet. Strange nobody on the farm had ever seen him before.

Anomalies like that always make a buck special. Some people like typical deer antlers and I wouldn't pass one up but I prefer a buck with something different. Another nice deer by the way.
 
Thank you , he was actually with a much larger typical buck when I took him. I'll admit I hesitated a second on which one to take. I watched them both feed their way into me from a half mile out. Never seen anything quite like him.
 
Looks like it got twisted. Sounds like you took the first one that gave you a good shot!
