Help Save Access on the Roan

Hey all, I am spearheading a group in order to try and save access to 10,000+ acres to prime deer and elk hunting lands near Rifle. Over the years countless people have hunted this property.

Please attend our public meeting on March 29th at the Rifle High School Auditorium at 7:00pm. We are needing a great turn out in order to prove the importance of this property.

Hey guys keep spreading the word. Thus far I have 100+ people who have taken the survey. Over 60 people on the Facebook Group. I have had over 30% of respondents say they and their family have hunted this area for 15+ years.

I am hoping to submit to them tomorrow. So far the only one "Involved" has been me...

I sent email to the CBA today and am hoping to get emails sent out to local RMEF chapters and will hit the BHA tomorrow, and hopefully Colorado Trappers Association.

So far this has been all me... But it has been fun and very educational.

We need to save this access...

Rough math shows over 900 hunters use this property and the property provides over 4500 days of recreation a year.

DAILY UPDATE...

We have the local paper writing an article and it should appear in the paper tomorrow. I also sent invites to Garfield County Commissioners, The City of Rifle, Silt, Rangely, and Meeker...

This morning I have had 291 respond to the survey. I have an unknown number of personal signatures, will have a good idea of in person signatures tonight at the meeting.

Last I checked we have 490 members online.
