Headed to unit 54 for a 3rd season deer tag. Wondering if anyone would share some insight on this unit and hunt.

I had that same tag back in '07, the year that the weather came in very late and super hard, pretty much taking out the mule deer herd.

I am interested in hearing how your hunt goes there.

I'm curious as well. I guided a third season hunt down there this year and it was pretty dang tough....

I'd be really interested to hear about anyone's hunts in this unit as well. I have 12 points and was planning on hunting 54 3rd season this year, but I want to get some more info before I make a decision.
