Went from very dry to very wet. Rain started Fri night
and rained off and on Sat, Sat night and all Sunday.
Little change in rut. Bugles a few hundred every AM
bigger bulls not here yet herds staying in big numbers with lots of 4 pointers. All 5 pts or better dark antlers
with white tips. 2 big bulls squared off Sat but just
bluffed each other. One bunch in basin 5 went 1500.
Weather is supposed to break tomorrow. Found a cow killed
by lighting Sat AM. Roy

Can't wait to see some big bulls! Hope the weather is dryer next week, I'll be just south of there chasing bulls!

Excellent as always. Are you all hunting yet? The Bugle should be cranking up in the next week or two. Headed to Trinidad area in two weeks for my annual trip to the Colorful State.
