Hello Colorado Boy ! I hope you don't mind sharing your thoughts on Co deer units for 2020, I see you are very very active all over the state for different species of game. I'm wondering if you'd share your thoughts for 2020 deer as I'm siting on 10 points & my son in law has 11 points. I put us in for unit 2 -- 2nd rifle season, one of us may draw. I'm not certain if we will keep the tags, might turn them back, his schedule is crazy with travel around the Globe. I'm 72 almost & last time I hunted deer in Co was 2007, in 551, right before the big winter wiped out 90 % of the Gunnison Herd. Didn't pull the trigger there. Never found a big enough buck. I'm considering unit 67 3 rd season next year if we enter the draw.
Last year we drew 61 elk rifle 2 nd season but I came down with a monster leg staph infection & we had to turn our tags in. He's got 10 points & I have 13. Elk points.
Any advice on deer would be appreciated for 2020 ! Hope you draw well this year !
Thanks in advance !
