HSUS on the attack 3/14

Just caught word that HSUS is bringing in an expert to push the Commision into banning all lion hunting in colorado.

The meeting is this Thursday at 9:00am in Denver at the CPW Head Quarters.

Colorado is dead for hunting in less that a decade if we do not unite.

There is a good chance I am cashing my points and leaving, but hope we can save hunting!!!

HSUS is a strident anti-hunting organization and anti-hunters love predators and are always trying to increase their numbers. They figure the more prey animals killed by predators, the fewer that are left for hunters, which will eventually erode hunter numbers. This shows they don't have a problem with the animals being killed, just as long as it's not humans doing the killing.

Just shows us how unorganized we really are. This message has been floating around for a long time and the only group that seemed concerned was the CBA

Where is the WSF, P&Y, SCI, RMEF, RMBS on this?

I hope to be there tomorrow, and I hope I get my 3 minutes to speak as a concerned sportsman. Trust, me, I won't be angry, but passive I will not be.

Do not ignore these inflammatory bastards! They play the long game, especially where the population centers, (Denver in your case) can influence the folks in power, the legislature and Commissions. I live in Cali, they've handed us our asses several times over.

This mornings meeting was cancelled due to weather. Not sure when they are rescheduling or if they will run today tomorrow etc.

And if the meeting wasn't cancelled the only place you would have found a BHA member there would have been standing with HSUS members locking arms. Seems that's about all they do, post on their facebook page and pint night. They got you buffaloed grizz.

You?re probably right DW. I wanted to like BHA, support them, but they lost me with this recent support of ?public land? bill that just passed. You know the one that gave away half a million acres of public land in Alaska. I saw on another site someone called out Randy newberg about it and he was all ? well you gotta give up something to get something?. Loser talk.

All, I checked the commission meetings schedule today and just noticed there is a meeting TODAY. The HSUS presentation wasn't on the agenda but the CPW has a beefy presentation on their management philosophy and credentials, including harvest and population age/sex composition with hunting that refutes alot of the Washington presentation.
