Colorado still no magnification?

Today I bought a new cross bow to hunt with. 2 lbs lighter than my old Barnett. I have had both shoulders stitched up after being torn that's why I shoot a crossbow. And with spinal stenosis and arthritis in my back 2 lbs less here and there makes walking and hunting easier. Last time I was in Colorado you could not have any magnification on a crossbow site. Still that way? Thanks
 
I would assume, of course you know how that ends. No scopes on hand held bows but it doesn't specifically say no on cross guns. Probably worth a phone call but I'd bet they aren't allowed. Good luck!

Crossbow rules are season specific, I believe. If you use it during rifle season it can be scoped. If you have an accommodation permit to use it during archery season, these are the rules:

Crossbow or draw-lock​ device during archery season - these permits allow use of non-magnifying scopes and red dot sights that magnify 1X or less. They do NOT allow for the use of scopes with magnification greater than 1X, magnified optical aids, laser, battery or electronic powered aiming, sighting, or range-finding devices (with the exception of red dot sights).
 
Hey thanks guys for the comeback. I do have a handicap permit that allows me to carry a crossbow during archery season. Just wondering how to go about fixing up a site on my new crossbow. I could have done all the research online but it's always nice to get some input from other hunters. And easier!! Thanks again
