Drew a 4 season unit 40 elk tag so this takes me out of the points game won't me in the game anymore its getting crazy getting to old not sure points aRE Worth it anymore we will see how this pans out.

Thanks for the reply when I started applying 19 years ago I didn't know point creep was going to do to draw odds its crazy not sure I would advise anyone to start now unless you just do a few years for a simple draw, best unit are out of touch to anyone new now age seeks up on year will post after my hunt this fall.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the point game. Lots of old timers are currently getting out, most will be out in a few yrs?

Wont have a ton of nonresidents with 20 + pts anymore. I ll add to my 7 res elk pts for a few more yrs and see what top units are drawing out at.

I'm not sure how anyone can think those with max points are getting out of the game, especially nonresidents.

There were 43 NR's with 28 or more points for elk this year. Only 5 drew tags.

Of the 140 people with 27 points, only 13 drew tags.

It will be a long time at this rate for the upper point levels to be exhausted.
