Hi fellas,
Just made an account here, and being new to new to hunting I will always be looking for advice.
My plan is (like most first timers) is to start with some small game hunting in the fall. Mostly Rabbit and water fowl.
I live in Littleton, and a couple hunting places I have been looking at to get my feet wet are Ralston creek state wild life area, and the banner lakes state wild life area. If you know anything about those areas that would be helpful. Like what are the conditions, and how to be better equipped.
Some of the things I have acquired so far to get started:
Ruger 10/22
Mossberg 500
Drake pull over jacket
snake boots
2 hunting knives
Duck call
Nice thermal underwear
Orange hat
orange vest
Hunter ed card
small game license
federal duck stamp
thanks
