My brother and I drew a 18B HAM tag so we could have a good excuse to check out the unit for other hunts. We?ve never hunted javalina and wanted to seek out some advice on how to hunt them. Which part of the unit would be a good place to start?

Glass all sunny hillsides find them with bino's first then plan a stalk use the wind they have a great nose but a poor eye sight.

Those that were on the HAM hunt in Unit 18B mostly found it tough going; with not a lot of herds and those herds that were located had fewer animals than in years past.

This unit I believe is in a javelina crisis!
