Rio Grande Del Norte Ram

I finally got to fill my tag last Wednesday morning at 7:00 am thanks to South Peak Outfitter owner Derek Harris. I can't say enough nice things about this young man. First Class hunter - patience of Job, eternal optimism, skilled professional, unending energy. He enabled this old man to shoot the old ram! Great hunt, great country, great experience and great ram!

Welcome to the less than 1% club. I took my ram last year. I also ran into Derek a while back out on Butterfield shooting range shooting a new rifle. He is a wonderful guy to talk to and from what I have seen from others, a great outfitter/guide as well.

Thank you everyone! He is an awesome headbangin Ram. I was truly blessed to find him, get in and out before the weather went south! And climbing all the way down to the river to get him out was a sight I will always remember. Just as pretty from the bottom looking up as it is from the top looking down!
