Late season bull elk again.

Well after a few unsuccessful years, I finally drew an archery elk tag in unit 34. Its the late season right before Christmas. I got one in 2016 and I'm looking forward to another awesome season. To celebrate I picked up a new bow, a Mathew's Vertix, and its a mean machine! Good luck to all of you out there this year and remember, hard work and hours before the hunt pays dividends when it matters!

Congrats on the tag! That hunt was going to be my first choice until I saw it ends on Christmas day this year.

Good luck on your hunt! I am interested to see the draw odds for that hunt.
I have a theory, but I don't wanna say it... I just hope I am right!

With only 200 tags and it not being during the rut, I'd say not many people used up a choice on it. It was my third choice for elk. I'm hoping to get it done before Christmas!
