Unit 23 1st season muzzleloader

After a couple years, drew a unit 23 muzzy tag. I know its not a 16 tag, but the northern part of the unit is surrounded by 15 on the north and 16A to the east. The western border is Arizona 27 which is also a great unit. Was wondering if anyone has been in this area and would PM me on access and road conditions in early October.

I have a Archery tag for this unit....hunting Sept 8-14. Never hunted the Gila, but will let you know when I get back. Looking for to see some of the comments.

Good luck on your upcoming bow hunt. Anxious on how you find the unit. What part of 23 will you be in. They had a nice burn in the nort central part of the unit last year. Should be a decent area.

Prez, Was hoping to hear about your hunt in Unit 23.
I'd like to hear the details, what part of the unit, access,
road conditions, crowds etc??
