got 6pts and am considering "trying" to use them for one of these units this year. ive been through the area in recent years and hunted 72 back in 2011. everything ive read and been told on the units suggest lots of bucks, but finding one around that 80" mark could be tough. I know there are bucks like that in every unit. its finding them that is the challenge. anyone have any experience the last couple of years in this area? im hearing the winter isn't over yet in that country but living 17 hours away makes it a little difficult to really know.

Winter in that country is pretty much done. It is drier country anyway and I expect most of the snow is gone. It's a big area and not where I frequent. Get on google earth and look for isolated areas with poorer access. Also look for areas with some terrain. I've observed that some of the bigger bucks like to hang out by themselves in areas with ravines and gullies.
