This kinda seems wrong. I guess I could go to the show and put $100 straight into the raffle bin instead. But still doesn't say where the money goes then.

The commission tag money goes to whoever the commissioner gives the tag to. There is no requirement to show where the money goes.

Not a penny of a commission tag has to go toward anything to do with wildlife.

Sounds like nothing could go wrong.

Correct.

The only requirement is that the group getting the tag is a nonprofit.

Not a Wyo resident, but this bothers me.

Seems like I see ads and emails for commissioner tags from all kinds of groups.

I would rather these tags go to groups with requirements for being returned to wildlife related causes. But I'm sure some of the groups do some good work.
I must be getting old and opinionated

I thought that making a purchase couldn't increase your odds of drawing a raffle in Wyoming? Don't they have to let you send in self addressed envelopes for equals odds to a purchased raffle ticket?

Buzz,
You and I have butted heads several times, but I would suspect that next year when I am a WY resident we will be on the same page with this issue...
