I have enough points to draw one of them, I hope. been tying to get ahold of a biologist but no luck yet. was wondering what the conditions are like and if there is any insight on last couple years horn production? I understand there may be some windfarm construction going on in 47. does anyone know what part of the unit? ive read lots of posts about both units from past seasons which seem to give mixed opinions of both regarding trophy potential.

We have heard 47 had some winter kill . G&F had some collared doe and they died.
I believe the wind farm got down sized and no construction yet.
No help to you before the draw, but we'll be driving right through 47 on the way to the machine gun and cannon shoot first weekend in June.

I've been poking around 47. The winter was hard there. I found two dead bucks in just a short hike. 63 had an easier winter.

Mid 70's is plenty doable in either of those units if you have a few days to look around.
