Another rough winter for mule deer

LAST EDITED ON May-22-19 AT 11:31AM (MST)[p]I fear this storm didn't help them at all.
Lots more snow in some areas , I haven't seen fawns yet but the cold was not timely either.

Probably time to cut tags in G and H again. As a resident I would love to help out, but, the system just isn't in place. I think 200 G tags and 200 H tags should be good for nonresidents. As a bonus, this should take care of our little point sharing issue also. All is good.

Cutting 200 non residents is pointless if 6,000 residents hunt and kill every 3 year old 22 inch 4 point from the road.

I'm pretty sure I'm in for more than $450! Cut more NR tags.....sounds about right. It snowed in Wyoming, cut tags, all deer have died!! Silly, but it worked 2 years ago.
But this year, I'll be combing that high country again. I've got some big bucks to find, at least the couple that survived the bad 4 inches of snow. Ha ha

They?ll make up the lost revenue with the upcoming bill that will require a qualifying license in order to hunt sheds. An annual small game, fishing or combo is what I've heard will be required. I was hoping for $200.?
