LAST EDITED ON Jun-24-19 AT 09:25PM (MST)[p]My 12 year old drew a 31-1 bull elk tag in Wyoming. We are not much for the inch game, but the more inches they have the better.

What size of a bull is realistic for the area. Everyone say's the area has gone down hill lately.

This is his biggest and only bull, so he will need one bigger than this one shown below.

He should be able to find one bigger than that without much effort. Nice bulls are in most places you look out there. Not giant bullls, but nice six points.

Congratulations to your son on drawing a good tag. (That's the hardest thing to do)
I think 325" is doable with some dedication. A chance for a bigger bull is possible but if you hold out for 350+" you are likely to be disappointed in what you find. These bulls are known to move around quite a bit after they shred the velvet. Once they start gathering cows... Who knows where they might be. Good luck and enjoy the hunt with your son on an easy access unit.
Roadless Hunter... Little MTN has way too many roads! ?
Thanks for sharing your adventures. [font face="verdana" color="green"]

Awesome drew. He must have the luck. Keep us posted on your hunt. Should be fun and productive for you and your son.

As mentioned above shouldn't have any trouble finding a bull to best his bulll from above pic, congrats on the tag!! Looking forward to seeing the results !!!
