Wyoming cow elk unit 36

Hello me and my boys didn't draw a mule deer tag so we put in for cow elk left over tag in unit 36-6 hunt. It's close to area we hunted pronghorn a few years ago. We will be Gun hunting October first week because it's during there college fall break. Just looking for a little help getting started. Hoping to find a few cows. We won't know for a couple weeks if we draw a tag just trying to get head start.
