Encampment River/Hog Park Res

Was wondering if there was anyone out there that has seen the river or reservoir here lately. My wife drew a 81 deer tag and my boys and I were thinking about making a run back there from Nevada to look at country and do some fishing, camping. Didnt know if the river is "blown out" with snowmelt or if it gets to high to fish on heavy snow years. And if Hog Park is clear. Anyhow if anyone has been there lately and has info I would appreciate it. Long ways to go fishing if its not fishable. I will do some googling also to see if I can see anything.

Thanks, Cody

According to USGS the Encampment River is still flowing a 400 CFS which is about double the normal for right now. Flood Stage is ~900 CFS. But it has dropped about a foot since the first of July. I'm sure the lake is fine.

Thank you. I was trying to find the info online but was having no luck and got tired of looking. Thanks again
